Connect Apple Health to Mistral Vibe

Mistral Vibe, formerly Le Chat, can read your Apple Health data with HealthAPI, on every plan including Free. Add HealthAPI as a custom connector, approve it on your iPhone, then ask about your sleep, heart and workouts.

  • Every Vibe plan, including Free
  • Read only
  • Tested 20 October 2026

HealthAPI: Free for 2 days, no card needed. Then an optional 7-day free trial when you subscribe.

What you need

  • An iPhone on iOS 15 or later with Apple Health. Data from your Apple Watch comes along too.
  • The HealthAPI app. Free for 2 days, no card needed. Then an optional 7-day free trial when you subscribe. The preview includes 25 requests a day. When the 2 days are up, AI apps and the API stop reading your data until you choose a plan in the app. Your synced data is kept for about 5 weeks, so subscribing picks up where you left off. Pro is $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year (100 requests a day); Developer is $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year (1,000 a day). Cancel anytime in the App Store.
  • A Mistral account, on any plan, with Vibe on the web at chat.mistral.ai.

Connect Apple Health to Vibe in 4 steps

  1. Install HealthAPI and sync

Get HealthAPI from the App Store, open it and allow Apple Health. Your history uploads, then new data keeps syncing.
  2. Add a custom connector in Vibe

On chat.mistral.ai/connections, select Add connector, then Add a custom connector. Name it HealthAPI and paste the address below as the Server. Vibe picks OAuth on its own. Select Add connector.
  3. Approve it on your iPhone

A HealthAPI sign-in page opens with a short code. Scan its QR code with your iPhone, or open HealthAPI, go to Connect and enter the code, then tap Approve. Back in Vibe, HealthAPI shows as Connected.
  4. Ask

In a chat, ask “Using HealthAPI, how did I sleep last night?” Vibe shows which HealthAPI tools it used.

What to ask

“Using HealthAPI, how did I sleep last night?”

You slept 7.7 h, with 1.1 h of deep sleep and 1.5 h of REM. That's about 20 minutes more than your 7-day average.

  • “Using HealthAPI, compare my resting heart rate this month with last month.”
  • “Show my workouts this week with total time and calories.”
  • “Is my HRV higher after nights with more deep sleep?”

Naming HealthAPI in the question helps Vibe pick the connector. More prompts are in the sleep guide.

Questions

Is Mistral Vibe the same as Le Chat?

Yes. Mistral renamed Le Chat to Vibe in May 2026. It is still at chat.mistral.ai, and your account carried over.

Does it work on Vibe's Free plan?

Yes. We set it up on a Free Vibe account. You still need HealthAPI on your iPhone: Free for 2 days, no card needed. Then an optional 7-day free trial when you subscribe.

Does it work in Europe?

Yes. Connecting HealthAPI doesn't depend on where you live, and it works wherever Vibe does. ChatGPT's and Claude's own Apple Health features are US only; what works where.

I approved it and landed on a page that says “Invalid state”. Did it work?

Probably. Go back to Connectors in Vibe: if HealthAPI is listed as Connected, it worked. If not, remove it and add it again.

Can Vibe change my health data?

No. Every HealthAPI tool is read only. Disconnect it any time in the HealthAPI app under Settings, Connected apps, or remove the connector in Vibe.
